Must-See Sights in West Texas
The cool summer weather has me thinking of the places in West Texas where you can find great lodging. I love a good vacation, but sometimes we want to save money and still have a great time. However, I cannot help myself from looking into the town centers and the hotels of the town to see if they are as amazing as they advertise. West Texas has everything to offer in a quaint, friendly atmosphere with a taste of the country, the panhandle and the wild west.
- One town center that I have been looking at in Northwest Texas is Conroe. Conroe is located right in the middle of what I like to call the Texas Hot spot, if that makes any sense.
- There are multiple parks, amusement parks, shopping and restaurants within a five mile radius of the center.
- Another place to go is Spring. Located in Deep Ellum, this town is not just located in the middle of the town but also can be found in the gorgeous neighborhoods on the outskirts of town.
- One area that I have been considering for some time is Alvin, TX, the town right in the middle of West Texas. Many like to think of Alvin as being a small part of the city, but it is the heart of the city. I always had to drive through Alvin before going to Wichita Falls or Amarillo. This is the perfect place to live, because it is not only close to everything else, but it is close to everything else that is great too.
- If you enjoy bowling, then Alvin would be a place to stay. There are several bowling alleys around town, and it’s a great way to spend a Sunday evening. It is also located in the center of town. If you love dogs, this is a great place to live, because there are dog parks all over town.
- The Pecan Lodge is an excellent place to stay when you are visiting the northeast part of the state. The downtown area is on the old train depot, and the town is very cute. There are many parks all over town, and the Pecan Lodge offers many things for people who like a great party atmosphere. The resort is a perfect place to be if you are looking for a place where you can relax and have a good time.
I have many more places to list, but these are some of the great places in West Texas. However, I am sure you will find the exact same great thing in every town you visit. Just take your time and shop around. When it comes to traveling in Texas, you do not have to spend too much money to get the experience you want. Check around and see if there are any wonderful vacation opportunities near you.
Be sure to check out all the places you have always wanted to go, especially those in West Texas. The culture is different, but you will never get tired of enjoying it. This is why we visit so often. Good luck on your next trip!
